One way we define ourselves is by the company we keep. Some of our relationships we choose while others are out of necessity. Throughout this pandemic, making choices about who we spend time with has been challenging. Getting together to maintain or start connections, celebrate or mourn, or simply remind ourselves that we belong seems now more precious than ever.
Still, it also comes with potential consequences to our health and that of others.
So we ask ourselves, "What are the things I absolutely need to be there for, and what compromises come with showing up for others?” As a result, we've had to prioritize spending our time, energy, and resources in ways we've never imagined.
In these performances, we invite audiences to share their experiences about showing up for others and themselves.
Whatever the essence of the story - success, indifference, or regret - our skilled performers will create dramatizations that provide insight, compassion, and comfort in creative and unexpected ways
Will you show up?
